Techtonic's apprenticeship program was advertised as a beginner to expert full-stack course. Without this training, I would not have been on the fast track I am on today. The education and opportunity I was provided is invaluable. I was fortunate enough to attend this program for free, I never paid a penny for the education I received. I was paid $15/hr for the duration of the 3-month program I was hired by Techtonic right after I graduated from the apprenticeship. Instead of a dev though, I chose to work as a Product Manager. I was an apprentice PM for 6 months with a $17/hr pay. After that time, I became a full PM and received a salary of $65k

It was the hardest challenge I have successfully put my brain through. On a daily basis, I felt that my brain was oozing out of my ears - and that's with 1.5 years of coding experience prior to this 3-month Bootcamp. The curriculum was exceptionally dense and the pace was very quick. It went too fast and I did not learn as much as I could have if only the course had been a few weeks longer. The teachers supported us as best as they could but they did not provide us the support we needed. More often than not, we would be assigned a massive assignment with only a few hours to work on it and our instructors would be nowhere to be found. We taught ourselves for the most part as our instructors couldn't answer many of the questions we had. As in many companies, there was disorder, terrible communication, mismanagement of expectations, and a lot of drama.
