In three years of having the same position, I reported to 6 different managers. Because I worked at a remote site, no one understood the nature of my work or could provide leadership. I was on my own to resolve problems. The only management interaction I got was to be yelled at about some policy I violated that I'd never heard of before. No training, no coaching, very difficult to get hold of someone when a decision needed to be made. Pay and benefits are sub-par. I was paying into Aflac disability coverage when I received notice from the insurer that Tele-Optics had not been forwarding our payments, and the coverage was dropped. We had the option of picking up full payment on our own, and no other disability coverage was offered by T.O, The employee website is a joke -- outdated employee manual, a broken suggestion box link, company directory that doesn't allow searches. The "HR Dept" is one person who checks email sporadically. Far and away the least professional company I've ever worked for.
