Innovation Fridays. A huge opportunity to try stuff out. The sky's the limit in terms of what you can do. Teleware's a Microsoft shop and has underwritten using the Azure stack for doing innovation Friday stuff, but at least in theory, your IF time is your own to explore whatever you like with whoever you like. Build bridges in the company, find a solution to that thorny issue problem that always comes up but there's never time to fix properly. Learn something new. The company is small enough to know everyone by sight and builds great teams of people who work collaboratively together. It's a very open and friendly place to work and as a company is open to and actively trying to encourage change and improvement. The people I work with are striving hard to achieve excellence in the products they are producing for Teleware and are hugely dedicated. There is a lot of skill and experience in the company, and of the companies I have worked at, Teleware has some of the longest-serving employees I have come across. There are people here (aside from our founder who still pops in) who have been here since the beginning (employee no.4 I'm looking at you). For a twenty year old company, there is an unusually huge depth of knowledge about the products and how they are build. Its also a lot of fun to work here.

If you don't live in Thirsk, your lifestyle may prevent you from enjoying all the social occasions that the company offers, and that's a pity, as there is an ongoing program of stuff to do outside work if you feel so inclined.
