The people at Teleflex are incredible. Part of this is due to the people focused culture which is one of the best I've seen. The number of employee surveys, feel good education opportunities, and "fluff" can sometimes feel over the top, but it helps keep a strong people focus and ultimately works for the good of the company even if I choose not to participate in "chair yoga" :) . Unfortunately, sometimes external hires into leadership have dampened the people focused culture within certain BUs and I would encourage Teleflex to consider the talent they already have in house. I saw multiple highly qualified candidates get passed over for external candidates that ultimately did not perform. Overall, I loved my time at Teleflex and would definitely work there again.

Interestingly, my "con" for Teleflex was actually a key advantage for Teleflex when I started working there. One of the key values at Teleflex is entrepreneurship, and when I started, this absolutely felt true. You were given a lot of leeway to identify issues within the business unit, tackle those issues and make improvements. However, over the last 5 years, the corporate leadership has expressed more pressure to follow specific corporate initiatives that not only take up business unit resources, they also dampen the creativity and freedom to solve real business unit problems when BU employees see a better solution.
