UK&I SMT have spent past 2 years churning out excuses for ongoing failure to properly organise, consolidate and structure the business. SMT treat the business as a sales organisation and have taken too long to appreciate the MSP landscape beyond what original OCSL org delivered (resale and PS only). From blaming previous leadership teams after they left the business, to ignoring the need to manage the business whilst they organised the sale from Cancom to Telefonica, it’s been a trail of excuses and inertia and failure to provide a platform for staff to succeed. The business has spent the months after the sale communicating on colour schemes and naming conventions rather than clarifying what the impact would be on staff and sorting out a clear strategy. Absolutely no clarity on career progression, salary reviews etc. Seem to think that shout outs from colleagues serve as sufficient reward.
