Vantaggi
There are some genuinely talented and hardworking people across the organization. Many employees care deeply about customers and about doing good work. If you’re early in your career, you may gain exposure to different parts of the business simply because teams are often stretched thin.
Svantaggi
After spending many years at the company and receiving multiple promotions, I feel I can give an honest perspective. There is a massive disconnect between executive leadership and the reality of what employees experience day-to-day. Many members of the C-suite appear extremely out of touch with the broader organization, which makes strategic decisions feel disconnected from operational realities. It can be genuinely surprising how little visibility leadership seems to have into what is actually happening across teams. In 2025, a large number of highly respected and long-tenured employees left the company. The response from leadership appeared to be a sudden push around “culture,” but it often felt more like optics than meaningful change. The people who built the company’s institutional knowledge are leaving, and the reasons behind that turnover don’t appear to be fully acknowledged. Career advancement is also heavily influenced by internal popularity rather than purely by performance. I say that as someone who did receive promotions, so this is not coming from someone who feels overlooked. Even when you do get promoted, compensation adjustments are minimal. Raises tied to promotions are typically in the 5–10% range, which means if you were hired below market rate, it can take years (if ever) to catch up. Another concern is the push for positive online reviews. Around mid-2025 there was significant internal pressure on managers to submit Glassdoor reviews. That undermines the credibility of what should be an organic platform for employee feedback. Overall, the company struggles with leadership alignment, compensation competitiveness, and transparency. It’s disappointing because the people doing the actual work are often strong performers who care about the company’s success.
