Small company that gives people freedom to take on as much responsibility as they are willing to take on. They really believe the customer is important and put a great deal of time and energy in treating the customers well. Everyone in the company is rated on how they treat customers.

Everyone is stretched - small company, growing fast, under staffed. To keep up you have to work long hours and weekends, making work/life balance a real issue. Combine with no benefits, and you have a difficult environment for anyone with a family.

Ownership of work and the ability to do your job without constant managerial oversight. This a great job for single individuals who like to work over 56 hours a week. Small company size allows you to get to know your fellow co-workers.

Svantaggi

When there is managerial oversight, you are put in front of the entire company instead of being addressed privately. Nepotism is valued more than ability, subject matter experts, or experience. Being treated like contract employees breeds no sense of loyalty. Lack of benefits makes this a terrible place for people with families to work. Expense reimbursements are not made in a timely manner.
