I was a part of the company's very first inside sales team. We were titled Business Development Representatives. There was a good sense of camaraderie amongst staff. The pay and benefits were average.

The company is run very old school for being a technology company. My team was the first to even use a CRM package (Salesforce.com)! Getting the older outside sales reps to use Salesforce was like pulling teeth by the way. The role was very difficult for a number of reasons but the fact that we were supporting outside sales reps who didn't coordinate well with us, weren't engaged with our roles and refused to embrace modern tools like CRM didn't help.
