Vantaggi
Can't think of any. A lot of the people across engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and product, across hierarchies have taken paycuts, quit the firm to join back with their previous employers within the first year or 1-2 years of employment.
Svantaggi
1. Disorganized upper-management with myopic vision that is rendering an amazing team useless 2. The organization is neither data nor process-driven, drastic decisions are taken and reversed every few weeks, merely on the hunch of the Founders. The chain of command will often be skipped in order to get projects executed on a whim. 3. Lack of trust in employees. Management is opaque and does not communicate even the bigger changes that directly affect everyone. 4. Inappropriate workplace banter and unsafe behaviour is prevalent across teams despite being reported. 5. Appraisals are a formality and there is no process or science behind them. 6. The HR policies and processes are a sham and they will often make false promises in order to get you recruited. Crazy high attrition rates within all teams. 7. The engineering and support teams have unhealthy long working hours, no appreciation or moving up, and a lot of silent firing. 8. The organization has given away important titles to unqualified folks which dilutes the leadership and there's nobody to mentor the incoming talent.
