The Bay Club used to be a great place to work but it changed. I used to feel appreciated and valued but it turned into a company that was all about the money and profits; even if it meant doing some unethical things to the loyal members and the staff.
I was working myself to the point of being unhealthy and it was taking a toll on my personal life and quality of life. I was coming home exhausted after a 10+ hour day (excluding commute time), continuing to work from home (as strongly recommended from senior management), then going back to work and being told that, "we need more INTENSITY from you!" and "stop being so lackadaisical" even though I was working harder then I ever had.
As a salaried manager, my hourly wage worked down to below minimum wage if I did the math for the hours I was actually working.
To sum it all up: overworked, underappreciated, underpaid, unrealistic expectations then criticized when not achieved.
