Vantaggi
Working with incredible kiddos and seeing the progress they make day in and day out was truly incredible.
Svantaggi
Employees were highly expendable. It was a constant revolving door of people coming in and then right back out. There is truly no incentive to keep employees around longer than 3 months typically. Seemingly as little resources as possible were afforded to the RBTs who put in a lot of hard work day in and day out with very little appreciation for the hard work. These restrictions came from the administrative side of the company and seemed to really restrict any growth for an RBT. Often it was felt that the clients were used as some sort of emotional leverage over us if we had anything that we thought was problematic or if an RBT tried sticking up for themselves. The model is not a winning model for keeping around good employees for an extended period. It's not fair to the clients or the RBTs. Because if you treat RBTs like they are helpful and useful parts of the organization and keep them happy, they would be inclined to show and produce better results that would reflect the whole clinic. But that just isn't and wasn't the case. I want the clinic to succeed, i truly do. But there are changes that need to be made to ensure that that happens, and I hope it does. Without honest feedback, there cannot be real growth and I hope this helps both the company and anyone who might want to work as an RBT be informed.
