Toxic and behind the times - Recensione dipendente - Operations presso The British Library

There is a culture of bullying at the British Library and poor management which makes for a toxic environment. People in favour are promoted way beyond their ability and this leads too inertia. Systems are outdated and the library finds it difficult to recruit staff because of low wages and a lack of job perks. Some departments are still probably great to work in, but it really depends on line management and what projects you are working on.
