This can be a bit frustrating for those who feel they are "next in line", but it is a great place to grow and learn if you are motivated and passionate about your work. The culture is one of constant learning, coaching, and team work. Work-life balance is supported, but you must be personally committed to keeping it in check or work can take over.

They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
