The Connection is such a positive work environment where services are being delivered throughout CT for very vulnerable populations. Excellent vision and mission driven leaders who lead with professionalism and support. Salary competitive, bonuses and yearly salaries! Great health care benefits and 401B company match! Lots of room for career growth and constant staff recognition. Tuition reimbursement opportunities, internal training department and advanced reserach component internally! Best practices are followed in all programs. The supervision I receive from my VP is superior. I started as a Case Manager and was promoted within two years. The Connection cares about its clients and staff. Safe environment to work in where you are valued, heard and respected.

Some staff are ungrateful and unaware of the great work environment they work in. Then staff leave and realize the grass IS NOT GREENER and beg to return!

Some management is amazing, not enough of them Gaining med experience Gaining experience with those with severe mental health and Clients are hilarious Some staff actually cares and work very hard

EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED, ignores potential new hires, management will not pitch in when you need help, upper management does not care about staff or clients Only being med certified at the Connection Management will not handle problem clients or staff (as long as you show up for work eventually you can call out take time off all the time) they keep staff that causes other staff to quit and staff that screams at clients Management ignores or covers serious problems Extremely Insufficient Training (training nonexistent - you’re thrown in with clients with severe mental health issues to “figure it out”) Low wages, they expect you to do a lot for very little Management will target you if you fail to allow them and other staff to exhaust you
