For a company that represents organization, TCS is extremely disorganized. Leadership's solutions to slipping sales are layoffs, cutting 401k contributions, and refusing to provide adequate resources for teams to dig the company out of the HUGE amount of tech debt that they've been in for a decade. Besides the recent financial troubles, there has never been clear paths for career development and teams are often stuck working in silos with little to no communication, even when the teams are all working on similar projects. Projects are usually driven by gut feelings and assumptions of leadership rather than actual data. Pay disparities between the same or similar roles are tens of thousands of dollars. Project expectations and company directions are extremely unclear - often, leadership is throwing ideas at the wall and hoping something will stick. I had high hopes working here, but my expectations have been completely pushed into the ground.
