Vantaggi
Great for experience, connections and a pretty good learning experience. Some managers are great and have your back
Svantaggi
There is a significant lack of clear communication from upper management, and many departments seem unsure of the company’s overall direction. This often creates confusion and inefficiencies across teams. In the programming department specifically, the workload frequently feels equivalent to that of multiple roles combined. Expectations are very high, and minor mistakes are met with disproportionate criticism rather than constructive support. As a result, work-life balance is virtually nonexistent in this department. Cross-department collaboration, particularly with marketing, is frequently encouraged by leadership; however, in practice, support is limited. Requests for assistance—sometimes even for small tasks—are often declined due to workload constraints, leaving programming staff to manage the full scope of marketing responsibilities independently. Additionally, inconsistencies in professionalism among certain staff members can negatively impact client experience, making it challenging to consistently ensure high attendee and organizer satisfaction. Compensation does not reflect the scope of responsibilities or workload associated with the role.
