Vantaggi
* Pay is barely up to par with industry standard, coworkers are friendly and well-educated. * Company started back in 2008 at an impeccable timing where competition is low and investment solid and abundant. No money issues.
Svantaggi
* High turnover, limited if non existent career progression opportunities. * Boss (Duc Luu) is highly disgruntled in life since he didn't manage to make it big back in Hollywood. Considering that he graduated from Yale in Economics and Theater Arts, this is much understand-able. This translates into how he carries himself as many people have already mentioned (egotistic/ inferiority complex, immature, non-existent management, playing favorites especially if you've graduated from an Ivy League). - Hong Kong office is falling apart day by day judging by the number of people who've have had falling outs with Duc Luu after working many years for him, Beijing and Shanghai offices turning into run of the mill "education consultancies" that wants to duplicate New Oriental's success yet lacks the capacity to do so (peculiarly Duc Luu hires a considerable team of former New Oriental sales and management personnel in Mainland China even though he continues to bash New Oriental everyday, lol). - During marketing events and interviews, the company will tell you that it takes up 70% of HK's market share. You'd be a fool to believe this. That's why this figure never appears on any of their printed or online marketing materials if you pay close enough attention.
