Feeling of community and lax attitude, generally friendly customers and coworkers. Paid above minimum wage

Little to no training - everything on the job, some under 18s working 12 hour shifts (hardly legal.) Under 18s also legally eligible for extended breaks, but not here. Pay day on Wednesday? Lucky if you get it by Thursday. Also all seeing eyes in the sky, ready to bring you into the office for minor infractions.

Great staff who generally get on well together Managers are down to earth and seldom undermine staff, always have time to discuss issues raised Very little trouble in the bar Work isn't terribly difficult Always paid on time

Minimum wage employer - there are no rates for a job, wages based on age No official training - very much a sink or swim mentality Communication between departments is not the best and staff get very mixed messages about policies Very difficult to access HR information - holidays, contracts, pay Managers don't seem to always be able to make decisions or use their initiative, this is the same for staff Staff aren't treated equally in regards to promotions, pay, holidays and disciplinary - one rule for one employee can be different for others Obsession with appeasing certain difficult customers
