We are thrilled that you have found the equipment provided and the WFH set grant so beneficial and that you see Goat as a viable route into the marketing industry. We pride ourselves on recruiting a diverse range of employees, regardless of qualifications, as we feel everyone should be given the opportunity to work in such an exciting, future facing and diverse industry.
On the other hand, we’re disappointed you have found your experience at Goat to be ‘toxic’. This is the opposite of the work environment we cultivate and we would strongly encourage you to reach out to the People and HR Team about your concerns. We are actively investing in employee wellbeing initiatives, like our partnership with Heka, and our managers are trained to delegate tasks in a way that is fair and achievable, if this hasn’t been your experience we would like to know more so we can rectify this.
Our intention as a business is to be inclusive and accessible to all who are part of Goat, we believe in strength based achievements that allow our people to have appraisals that are unique to their skills and career development. This may be why you view appraisals as ‘subjective’, however we are more than happy to discuss this in more detail to understand your feelings properly.
Finally, as you may know, we are at a critical stage of growth as a business which is a key reason for our ongoing hiring strategy. This growth, along with our bi-annual appraisals process, is designed to help Goat grow and our people grow with it.
