Svantaggi
The people who hold upper management positions are not qualified. The employee turnover rate is extremely high due to the culture of integrity that TLH tries to convey not being upheld. Many employees are hired and promoted very quickly, only to receive little to no extra pay - and if they speak to management about their concerns are then terminated. TLH pushes sales to their potential clients but does not have a strong team to deliver those expectations. People who are hired to work at TLH have extremely varied backgrounds, and more times than not, have no experience in education, instructional design, or higher ed. Once hired, these employees are not given proper training and changes in the company are rarely communicated or documented. The professors that work with TLH personnel would probably be shocked to know that their "expert" course designers, training, and faculty support teams overwhelmingly do not have related degrees (most do not even hold a Master's degree in any field). The other departments have a lot of issues with inappropriate manager relationships- and many employees wonder why some people are promoted with very little experience or high performance rates to management positions. Management does not back up their employees. We have seen countless hard workers be terminated for not upholding unrealistic expectations, and you will never see someone in upper management re-evaluate the culture or their unrealistic demands. The pay is extremely low.
