Great place to work if you love all things indie and music. The closest you can get to work in the established music and entertainment scene while still able to call yourself independent. It's a chance to meet interesting people and industry VIPs, very flexible work hours, enthusiastic and friendly coworkers, good growth and development, lots of advancement opportunities, fun to travel and attend conferences and festivals and awesome COO.

Departments are VERY insulated, almost like their own companies. Everything positive I mentioned depends on your manager and department. The darlings of the company flourish like superstars while others languish in the shadows like the ugly unwanted child with down syndrome and no IQ. The support and cooperation you get from your manager and other departments will also vary greatly. Tech and DA are great. Finance can be hit or miss depending on who you talk to. HR however, is nearly none existent. Upper management really needs to get rid of that gestalt state of mind and pay attention to the lopsided conditions of the various departments and unify the different pieces for organizational cohesiveness. "Run your department how you like" shouldn't be the model. I've bad managers who get hired and ruin the team. I've seen good people get let go and bad people who stay and get paid because they know how to play the politics game. The current COO has the personality and management style that's better suited to run the company. Maybe not the skill set or experience, I don't know. I personally believe the the attention she pays to those around and especially under her is the kind of rapport the company needs to impart on its employees.

You get to work on high-profile projects for major artists in a great NYC office. The environment is flexible, the dogs are a plus, and lunch is catered twice a week. Most of the staff are talented, hardworking, and genuinely nice people. It’s a "cool" place to be on the surface, but the cultural issues (lack of promotions and favoritism) run deep. See below.

Employee satisfaction plummeted in March 2025 as the fallout from restructuring and layoffs soured the organizational culture. This decline is fueled by high KPI pressure and a lack of clear career progression; even high performers of several years face stagnant growth. Operational efficiency is further hindered by "low-value" work, such as creating pitch decks for clients with a history of non-engagement. Furthermore, a lack of boundaries with demanding clients has led to chronic unpaid overtime. Most concerning is a perceived culture of favoritism, where opportunities and rewards are distributed based on personal bias rather than merit, deeply undermining team morale.
