Management talks a lot about work / life balance. But, if you really want to get ahead you practically have to kill yourself to get there. Resources frequently pushed to burn out Favoritism is a big issue Health Insurance is expensive and not great PTO policy is outdated and below the market (Standard in the market is 3 weeks. TPG offers 2 weeks) Salaries are not consistent within any given role. Some people are paid at or above market while others are way below. Raises are generally doled out more generously to a favored few. If you come in at a junior level, it’s very hard to be seen as anything other than junior regardless of your contributions Unless you are one of the “favored” your voice and ideas is rarely heard or taken seriously. Mistakes might be forgiven but they’re never forgotten unless you are a favorite. Over time the company has begun to place less and less value on creativity. It’s all about process. Men and women are treated differently in the company. It’s not intentional but it is a fact.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We agree that there are plenty of opportunities for growth for those that are willing to put in the time and the effort. We use a rubric for career progression that clearly outlines the competencies that everyone needs to achieve to grow in both title and salary. These standards are in place for everyone to ensure transparency and fairness. We are very proud of our track record on diversity and celebrating the brightest minds, regardless of sex, religion, orientation or color. Those that perform, advance. We pay in the 75 percentile for all roles and positions.
