Stanky culture or really just a complete lack of culture. Not what you would expect from a "design agency" in Portland. Low pay. Inexperienced team members. Zero support. Unreal expectations. Kitchen doubles as their photo studio. No parking program at all. Really? You got us working over Christmas break? And why is there no pot of coffee running in the morning? I could go on, but it would just make me look crazy. I was SO happy to leave this company that I didn't even ask why they fired me. Seriously. I still don't know. They gave no reason to me whatsoever. But I was never angry about it nor do I feel any resentment towards management now. Just happy to be gone. I'm mainly writing this review to warn those eager youngsters out there that this ain't the place to learn from knowledgeable senior staff members. And that's mainly because they just aren't there. In my opinion, these high school educated fellas have learned to talk a big game and lean heavily on talented young designers that are hungry for success and willing to grind it out day and night to make it happen for a meager "first design job" salary. Once they got you there, sounds like they'll keep you there for a long time too. I didn't hear many positives about advancement from anyone I met at The Program either. Be careful out there. The Program doesn't set you up for success. Plus, it's a really lame job and culture to attach yourself to.
