Vantaggi
Being a “photographer” in the Bay Area with benefits. Honestly it’s a starting job that looks semi decent on a resume. I’m really reaching here for something good to say. I’d say it’s cool that you get mental health benefits, but I didn’t really need it until all the bullying I suffered here for years.

I’m not even sure where to begin. If you’re someone who’s quite, keeps to yourself , and doesn’t mind a dungeon with barely any down time or you somehow manage to get so close to the managers that you’re partying with them and sharing an apartment, I guess you’ll have a decent time. If you become a favorite you really have nothing to worry about other than the typical work injuries we all have and get shamed for. If you’re not though, you’ll be micromanaged and treated like garbage everyday of your life no matter how much or how fast you shoot. You’re nothing unless you’re besties with the managers, and good luck if one of your equals doesn’t like you because no one including management will. They even talk about employees to other employees and go as far as to purposely sabotage people. Laughter makes them angry, so good luck bonding with anyone or finding a way to let go of the stress this toxic environment brings you. People are constantly crying in the bathroom. We used to have pretty cool benefits and company parties, but every few months they take something else away. I was scared to go and ask a question to my AM because of the attitude and unnecessary anger they constantly held towards everyone. You’ll be told to adjust to the moods of your AMs as the employee when they should be trained on how to work with broad groups of individuals and not blow up after simple questions or conversations. It’s not a very female friendly environment. A lot of the leads and managers are pretty creepy and uncomfortable. They’re typically dating one of the employees under them. So if you have no respect for women and love to be one of the boys then you’ll probably be accepted into a Lead position in no time.
