I witnessed tremendous company growth during my time here (HQ), from opening our first store to going public on the stock exchange. It was an incredible learning experience and I was fortunate to be apart of it early in my career. TRR gave me opportunities to lead big projects and make an impact on the overall business. Having the company on your resume will get your foot in the door at other companies in the Bay Area.

All of this growth and development came at a cost: -You are overworked and expected to fix anything that breaks (even off-hours or time off). -Company culture is non-existent and the company is too cheap to treat workers (departments eventually cut birthday celebrations and birthday cards, which is just sad). -"Unlimited PTO" is for show, no one ever takes it nor do they insist you take it if they see you working hard. -Sink or Swin culture: Self-starters will thrive in this work environment but this becomes toxic once you've proven yourself and management throws more projects at you. They rely heavily on you since you're the only one who knows how to do it. Nothing From TRR is Genuine. It's all about meeting goal at the end (in HQ and field/warehouse): -Sustainability is just a marketing tactic (They don't value it internally. You should put together workshops to educate us on why we should care) -Diversity is non-existent in HQ. This is pretty embarrassing for a Bay Area Company. While it has gotten better, the HQ is pretty white overall... -Managers are not good leading teams, they're good pushing them to their limits. TRR unfortunately promotes individual contributors as managers. Many people I know left because they didn't like their manager.

Pay and commission can be good, but the structure is unnecessarily convoluted and not as generous as it seems, and you will have no work/life balance if you want to actually make consistently high commission. If you have a true passion for luxury and fashion, you do get a lot of opportunities to handle and interact with special/rare items, and depending on store location you can meet a lot of interesting industry people and celebrities, especially during Fashion Weeks

Poor and unsupportive management with extremely unrealistic demands and expectations; you will get virtually no training, but are immediately expected to know how to do everything. The overall company culture is just unpleasant and very cliquey, and there's constant employee turnover. The online customer service system is terrible, so you will frequently have to handle customer issues that have nothing to do with you/your sales.
