Vantaggi

Free coffee each week and during your shift. Great co workers. Everyone is there to help each other get through the day.

Svantaggi

I only worked at the factory location so its hard to say what other cafes are like. But for the factory all of the regular workers basically do anything they can to stay out the way of Danny. If you do something he doesn't like(which is extremely easy to do) he treats you extremely poorly, is very rude to you, then proceeds to hold a grudge. The business and sales people are miserable at their jobs simply because they have to deal with Danny on a regular basis so this is why the turnover rate at working there is so high. My first day working there everyone warned me about how awful he is to be around as a Boss and I knew some previous employees who all had nothing good to say, but I ignored their advice and figured I would be alright. Was I wrong. After only two negative experiences in Danny's eyes with some of his favorite toys that we use for events I was not fired directly, but my hours were cut to nothing in which I had to ask my supervisor what was going on. Not a single other person had an issue with me and I had many friends there, but because Danny cares more about his things than his employees, and he always gets his way, I was not allowed to work there anymore.

Vantaggi

One free drink per shift, and free drip. Good discount on coffee beans. Can purchase interesting coffee through parent company at a good discounted rate as well.

Svantaggi

Often limits creativity for drink creation. Needs of baristas can go long overlooked (i.e. equipment that would make our job safer and/or easier) Customer service. When the minimum wage got raised to $15 an hour, they opted to start considering us tipped workers so as to avoid meeting the new minimum wage. As far as I've heard, newer employee's base-pay are now lower than the previous minimum wage was.
