Vantaggi

100% remote Flexibility and work life balance. This is one of the biggest and most valued aspects by employees, however you need to know there is more than just offering this (I will expand my answer further in the cons section) The people are incredible. They're smart, funny, motivated and do great work. The culture is excellent by my definition, which is that the employees support and genuinely enjoy being around each other on video calls.

Svantaggi

Pay is well below market but it seems it's much a bigger issue on the European side. I know several current and former colleagues who were underpaid, and/or who increasingly felt their skills and experience were not valued (myself included). HR: This is a department that really needs improvement but not accountability. They are dated and don't follow the changes and direction of the agency. Their knowledge of the industry and understanding of the current labor market is limited and out of date which means they can't keep up to offer attractive compensation packages. On top of that, they don't take feedback on board when you reach out to them through the voice or rather shove any comment under the carpet. Though I said work-life balance is one of the most valuable aspects, HR needs to see that this is just a small part of what they can offer. They don't focus enough on engagement and career trajectory. New technologies: The agency lacks a proper system/app to document processes. I do not think Basecamp is a good choice. Though it heavily relies on Gdocs and that's OK, there are many new technologies out there for enhancing communication, data documentation, collaborative process building and it seems that TSE is behind all this.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback - it's very much appreciated. I heartily agree that the people are incredible, and I'm grateful every day to be working with such an amazing team. I will include our HR team in that too - they're a small team of dedicated people who care deeply about the agency and the people who work here. Our model of remote working from various territories brings enormous benefits to the agency and our clients - and can make roles like HR challenging. In terms of the Creative Equals work, the SLT and HR are working together on initiatives arising from it, and we're looking forward to sharing those via one of our All-Hands sessions and various follow-ups. The HR team isn't responsible for any delays in that process, and neither do they make the final decisions on salaries and benefits - although they have lots of great recommendations. I would love to talk in more detail about your feedback and hear about your ideas - if you'd prefer to do that anonymously, I can be reached via the Your Voice system. Thank you again for taking the time!

Vantaggi

(I can only speak for the project I’m on) - Flexible hours - Quick to assist with requests for off time - Remote work - Little to no micromanaging - Can fall out for being sick as needed - Pay is about normal for entry level minimum wage jobs but the plus here is that you save on gas - You get health insurance at full time I can’t speak on how good or bad it is though.

Svantaggi

- No PTO - Equipment not provided (I find this is 50/50 for remote jobs) - There seems to be quite a bit of competition for job postings within the company so you may or may not be sitting in one spot for some time.

Vantaggi

Flexibility, management and HR exhibit humanity , great peers who have a genuine passion for social media and seeing our clients be successful, benefits are great, fun clients, opportunities to learn

Svantaggi

I think this is like Amazon reviews where people who had bad experiences tend to speak up. I’m really surprised at all the negative reviews. People who don’t like being held accountable seem to go back and blame management. I will tell you the real cons. Very inconsistent or low pay increases, account managers lose clients but don’t seem to be held accountable and roles sacrificed are those of front line workers. They also tend to take credit for work done by the social team. Very little diversity in leadership (a panel of blonde females) but the greater team has a more diverse makeup. Being recently acquired is scary especially given there’s a focus on AI
