Vantaggi

As an aspiring virtual assistant, The Virtual Hub provided me with the opportunity to master skills I never knew before, offering a permanent work-from-home arrangement with a great salary complemented by excellent benefits like HMO from day one, government benefits, leave credits, and annual increases. Additionally, the company boasts a strong and enjoyable support system. Reflecting on my year at the Virtual Hub, it has been the best experience, and I couldn't have imagined my situation without the chance TVH gave me.

Svantaggi

While we've been conducting town halls, and Barbara, our CEO, has been excellent—open to opinions and exploring alternatives—it would be beneficial to have pay increases every six months. The rising costs of food and groceries are a concern, but I trust that Barbara and TVH management are addressing this issue.

Vantaggi

- The remote/hybrid setup is convenient, especially if you prefer working from home - Great setting stone if you're new to the VA Industry - Work Life Balance

Svantaggi

- Micromanaged, underpaid, and limited growth - Time tracker system feels like too much control, it can be stressful and demotivating - They often say the company is employee-centered, but honestly, it doesn’t always feel that way once you’re in - The Great Place to Work award doesn’t really reflect how most employees feel. We were encouraged to complete the survey and even given Foodpanda vouchers as an incentive, so it’s hard to say if the results truly reflect everyone’s honest experience - They always say “we support because people matter,” but in reality, it often feels quite the opposite. - Promotions and growth opportunities are limited. - The pay is low, especially considering how much clients are billed, only a small cut goes to the employee. I was earning ₱28,000 all in even with 10 years of experience, which felt discouraging - They have a 2-year employment bond, and if you resign before completing it, you’ll need to pay around ₱20,000–₱40,000, which can feel a bit unreasonable given the salary and workload.
