It feels like we are being asked to do more work with fewer people. I keep hearing "just one more thing." Pressure on IT to create new products has resulted in less ongoing support for products that they already created for the newsroom. As someone from the Washington area, it is sad to see the Post move from a local focus towards a national and international one. Benefits have drastically changed since I started a decade ago. For example, when I started I was in college and was able to benefit from a tuition reimbursement program, which no longer exists. Overall, the benefits are still pretty good, though.
