Been at this startup for a year+ as its core data engineer. It's never short of engineering challenges. It's strong supportive culture is the biggest perk IMHO. • Forward thinking engineering culture with great flexibility • Opportunity to work with massive data sets and build tools that end up on the browsers and devices of millions of users • Solid work life balance, family-friendly (I'm a dad) and strong positive culture (difficult to find at SV startups nowadays) • Freedom to define the stack and opportunity to learn new frameworks, languages • Management is open to new well-thought out ideas no matter your role • Great perks that help build the culture like food, outings, parties, conferences, food etc. • You generally feel empowered and get sh*t done
