Unethical work environment with unrealistic expectations, high pressure- all for low reward. It was common place for front of house staff to not receive legal breaks/ rest periods. Very little support from management, often being forced to show up when sick or otherwise as there was no cover or help in place. Desperately poor work life balance. Senior mgmt questionable in their practices… no incentives or benefits, or simple praise for good work. Regular abuse from irate customers, often turned threatening. Overall a poorly executed business model.
