People are great, I have had great experiences with both team members and people managers, I feel like I am trusted by my peers and can work flexibly as long as the job is done. I don’t think culture is that toxic as they picture it, sponsors can be, but that’s not entirely PPD’s fault. The compensation package is competitive (car allowance for a full remote job is not taken for granted).

Even if compensation is overall competitive, the salary increases when promoted are underwhelming (about 6% from CRA to CTM role). Uncertainty has significantly increased after acquisition from TF, and several people have been laid off even after >10 years of service and it’s now harder to grow professionally. Quality of monitoring is declining progressively due to inexperienced CRAs, over allocation of resources and high pressure.
