They actively defy the odds in pulling off incredible work and trailblazing innovative ways to get things done. You will spend long hours working overtime and forming a close kinship with your team. I still keep in touch with former co-workers who worked tirelessly to propel this business forward. Thesis is a solid spot to learn the baseline functions of a production agency. Working here can quickly get you fully entrenched in client partnerships with a massive workload.

Thesis leadership regularly makes it clear that they are not there to support your growth or the work. They are here to promote their story, not help their underpaid and overworked employees. Leadership will not show up for the day-to-day folks who put in the effort. They demand a return to office knowing full well that they have no intention of returning to an office on a regular basis themselves. They even tout breaking ground on a new building following a series of layoffs that came after losing business due to a lack of resource management, foresight, and fiscal planning. Career growth at Thesis isn't tied to the quality of your work or your dedication to it. Star performers are grinded to the point of complete burnout without promotions or raises. Over my tenure, I witnessed many key contributors become so overwhelmed that their only option was to find new work. The unbalanced workload distribution is a significant issue for those with the burden of carrying the company. I poured my time, effort, creativity, and love into Thesis. But regardless of strong peer reviews, engrained client relationships, and significant partnership growth, I was cut off from advancement with no path forward. Since moving on, I have found a better work-life balance, compensation packages that actually reflect the industry standard, and far better growth opportunities. This is more than just one opinion; I implore whoever is considering working here to do their due diligence. Read the full reviews, see the trends, and understand the cracks within the foundation. For anyone reading this who's currently dealing with frustrations at Thesis, just know it isn't like this everywhere.

Thesis has been an incredible place for me to grow professionally. I've had the opportunity to learn, take on meaningful work, and be supported by some of the most talented and thoughtful people I've worked with. What stands out most to me, though, is the personal care and humanity I experienced during a very difficult period in my life. Both my manager and the CEO went far beyond what I would ever expect from an employer, offering compassion, flexibility, and support that allowed me to take care of myself and my family when I needed it most. I will always be deeply grateful for that.

Leadership feels increasingly disconnected from the realities of delivery and employee experience, with an overwhelming focus on revenue and margins above all else. At the same time, leadership frequently overcommits to client demands and approves work at unsustainable or negative margins, only to later criticize teams for failing to meet financial targets created by those decisions. Employees are often treated more like interchangeable resources than long-term contributors, resulting in exceptionally high turnover and a constant revolving door of talent. Any meaningful, innovative, or strategically important work is routinely handed to external contractors rather than internal teams. These efforts are often executed in isolation, with little intentional knowledge sharing or investment in growing the capabilities of permanent employees. This creates frustration, limits career growth, and reinforces the perception that internal staff are not trusted with the company’s most important opportunities.
