You will get to be creative and share some sweet memories. Working with families and children in an informal education setting is delightful. If it weren't for the toxic work environment created by poor management and excessively high turnover, I would have loved to stay.

The pay is depressing, especially considering how hard they work you. Expect to be exhausted, overworked, and anxious. Open positions remain vacant and excess work gets pushed onto staff without extra compensation. Disabilities are not accommodated by leadership. Staff has attempted to unionize without success. Leadership is condescending and quick to divert blame. There is a lack of professionalism when dealing with conflict. Disagreements fester and breed resentment until someone is fired or quits. Very little room for challenging the status quo, even though all agree that the status quo is not sustainable.
