Vantaggi

schedule is flexible. that's the only good thing about it

Svantaggi

I worked here for about months and left because I couldn't take any more of their unprofessionalism. They paid me ONCE. They still owe me around $2000, and I gave up on trying to get compensated because they don't answer any emails. They didn't even respond to my email where I gave them my weeks notice. I was seriously thinking about taking legal action, but decided it wasn't worth it. I don't know how they're still in business.

Vantaggi

Caring management. I never felt afraid to ask questions throughout or after the initial training process. Great mission. I could tell they really cared about the students they served.

Svantaggi

It was sometimes difficult to complete the work in the allotted time. I wish they had paid a few more dollars to compensate for this.

Vantaggi

- Flexibility was the main attraction for working here. Tutors get to set their own hours and take on projects at their own pace. - Relatively good work-life balance since the job is remote.

Svantaggi

- As others have mentioned, this company stops paying its workers over time. This reeks of intentional exploitation, combined with the lack of communication. Keeping tutors on the hook and expecting them to work while payment is in limbo suggests an avoidant management style rooted in bad faith. - Payment was exceptionally low compared to other tutoring services, especially considering the amount of work and level of skill required. - Communication is abysmal. Upper management actively ghosts workers when they ask about payment. A top-down approach means tutors are always in the dark about changes happening in the company. From my own experience, I believe the last American workers were effectively forced out through constructive termination and replaced with offshore hires from low-wage countries like India. Of course, none of this was explained; we were simply not paid and expected, discarded, and expected to piece the rest together on our own. This is the opposite of 'Made in the USA.' If any potential client reads this, please understand that this is how this company treats its American tutors.
