Even with a promotion or good performance, you only get a minimal raise. - How interesting the work is can really vary depending on the client/project. - Because it’s consulting, your soft skills often matter more than your technical/hard skills. - The business seems to be heavily influenced by the sales team. Fewer clients could lead to layoffs
