God, what a truly horrible place. Leaving was the best thing to happen to me. Let's start with the fact that there are many people in senior positions that don't have the skills to be there. It's a start up, so you get promoted quickly, regardless of whether you have the expertise or not. Sr leadership is truly shocking, telling people to be quiet, disregarding people, not believing in people, etc. I think some senior leaders need a communication lesson, not that they would listen. A senior leader who knows nothing about a subject, will never listen to advice on the subject from a professional. No one has any idea what they're doing - no processes, people going behind backs and doing what they like...they are literally winging most things. People. Some people are nice, but you really do have cliques. The majority of them avoid eye contact with you in the office. If you're not with them, you're against them. HR pretend to care about people, but let's face it, they really don't. Absolute reluctance to change. It's the Tide way or the highway. The most disappointing thing is that they KNOW they need improvement, but when the suggestions come in, they don't want to fix anything. Happy to operate in chaos. Also, as you can see, there was a big effort to boots Glassdoor scores. They ask new joiners (who don't yet truly know what it's like), HR and TA to leave positive reviews, because it's beneficial for employer branding (something which they have no direction in). So I'd take those with a pinch of salt and read the negative ones.
