I'm one of the store's consistent TOP GUN sales people. I now qualify to collect food stamps! I got a great federal subsidy for health insurance under Obama care! We get regular visits from corporate "know it all's" that give great input to drives our store's success lower so that we can be like the other under performing stores that have adopted the corporation's recipe for declining sales, lower profits, and demoralizing its sales force. If the current trend continues, I'll have plenty of money to put gas in the car I'll be living in. Seriously if you NEED a job, its money, but this will not be a career enriching position for most serious sales professionals.

This company will do anything/everything possible to NOT pay its Sales Associates commissions. Every single time that I catch them not paying they sheepishly say that: "They want to pay me when I sell." Then they make every possible excuse for why: sales go unassigned, to the wrong rep, to the cashier, or, to the business reps. It seems they always turn things around on the Sales Associate. Every time I have to "prove" they owe me commission on something, I waste a lot of time that I could/should be selling and earning. There is a continual focus on the minimal "shrink and theft" in the store, while they steal and thieve commissions from their employees. There are no promotions from within. Managers hired from outside have far less experience than mine (and other employees that expressed interest in growing the company). These "managers" they hire from outside run scared from the corporate "heads," and will not take a stand behind their employees, no matter how ridiculous the corporate mandate of the day. SPINELESSNESS is a trait for GM's and Sales Managers that the company wants to have in local leadership. They do not pay sales associates for: meetings, staying late to straighten the store, or for merchandising. Legally; I'm perplexed how they have gotten away with this for as long as they have. There are no real discounts for major items for employees. They have one day a month that you can purchase at "cost." It is doubtful however that they are passing on any real savings to employees on any major ticket items based on feedback that I've received from my supply chain sources. Sales continue to slide while this company does very little marketing and makes no effort to bring new clientele into the store. The displays in the store (e.g. HDTV's) are junk in comparison to what the competition (Best Buy and HHGregg) show in their stores.
