Here’s the vibe: everything starts great, smiles, empathy, inspiring talks about purpose and growth. The CEO says she values your ideas… right before destroying them in front of the team and subtly questioning your competence. Disagree or challenge something? Congrats! You’ve just become the problem. A truly immersive gaslighting experience - by a medical doctor, no less. Let’s be honest, as long as the CEO is in charge, the company culture will stay toxic. No room for professional growth, unless you count learning how to cry in silence. People are humiliated in meetings, publicly shamed, and left doubting their sanity. Micromanagement isn’t a quirk, it’s the system. Copywriting, product, design, or social media posts, every pixel and comma needs to be approved. Apparently, no one’s competent unless the CEO signs off. Odd, considering those who left are now thriving and winning awards elsewhere. Funny, right? There’s zero transparency, no clear direction, and absolutely no ability to scale, because energy is spent on nitpicking instead of actually leading. The result? A company stuck in a loop of chaos and short-term thinking. There’s also the delightful Orwellian vibe of being monitored for office attendance. Expect passive-aggressive reminders (read: threats) to show up in person just to do the same work with more noise and less comfort. Personal time? Doesn’t exist, because her time is more valuable than yours, of course. Late-night WhatsApps, unrealistic deadlines, and a total disregard for work-life balance are the norm, all in the name of “urgency”. Salaries, below market. But don’t worry, the emotional toll is priceless. Turnover, through the roof. Talented people leave, knowledge gets lost, teams are constantly rebuilding from scratch. Who stays? Mostly those who can’t afford to leave, and she knows it. She uses it. Honestly, the job market isn’t perfect, but this place? It’s a masterclass in destroying morale and drive out talent. So unless your goal is to develop a thick skin, practice emotional detachment, and write a memoir about surviving narcissistic leadership, keep searching.
