They sometimes get you a job. A really good school might pay them separately. In fact, these parasites are usually taking money from you the teacher.

The scam is this: they find 1000 new teachers who don’t know they should ask for more $$$ from schools and the $$$ you deserve is kept by recruiters and some scumbags at the school.

- None at all to mention.

- Where do I even begin? - Unbelievably slow to send you potential schools to interview with. - A very poor level of English which makes communicating very slow and difficult. - Condescending attitude towards candidates spawning from misunderstandings caused by their poor English. - I was actually told verbatim "It's not my job to find you a school, it's my job to find school's teachers because they are the ones who pay me." - Read that sentence again but add in a dozen grammatical errors and it'll be more accurate. - Told me I was too fussy because I only wanted to work in one city. I actually signed a two-year contract with a true international school 2.5km from my house. - They didn't even have the brainpower to search for schools nearby me and try to communicate with them.
