Don't work here if you're a student - Recensione dipendente - Sales Assistant presso Topman

The store that I worked in was not very accommodating to students, Considering there are 2 universities in this city. I was on a 12hr contract yet was working way over 20hrs I was also given unwanted overtime and when I asked to drop the overtime it caused upset with management. I booked 2 dates off for educational purposes which were both denied due to short notice despite booking off weeks in advance as well as being accused of " faking" when I called in sick. I also had disciplinary for having my phone on me ( in my pocket) despite the fact that managers and other members of staff would be on their phone during their shifts.
