My colleagues were the one bright spot when working at Toppan Digital Language. Many of them were incredibly friendly, supportive and genuinely helpful, making the job more enjoyable despite the challenging environment. Without them, the experience would have been much harder to manage.

I worked at Toppan Digital Language for a year and a half and unfortunately, my experience was largely negative. It became clear early on that longevity and promotions here don’t necessarily mean gaining respect or meaningful recognition from upper management. Advancements are primarily based on tenure and revenue, not on actual leadership skills or contributions. The work culture is highly micromanaged, with constant pressure to meet unrealistic targets, all while pay remains well below what’s needed to live comfortably in London. Higher management appears detached from the day-to-day challenges and seems primarily focused on profit. Instead of addressing core issues like low wages and high stress, they offer perks like a basic breakfast, which felt more like a symbolic gesture than true support. I would much prefer fair pay over token benefits that do little to boost morale. For those considering a position here, know that Toppan Digital Language prioritises profit over its people. If you’re looking for a supportive, motivating work environment, this company may not be the best choice.
