Good salary, often more on big race days eg Ascot. Very well suited to students, with flexible hours and dates. Occasionally good atmosphere.

Often bad atmosphere. I was working during a process of reorganisation and the system felt very outdated and, though there was support offered, it still felt quite chaotic and disorganised.

Ideal for part time work around university or a second job. Great opportunities to travel to different race courses around the country, along with a good rate of pay and accommodating managers. Team atmosphere!

Some customers can be difficult to deal with, especially at bigger meetings when busy. Fast paced environment can be daunting at times.
