Touchstone had a world class team: Management was strong The Engineers were top-notch All the employees were committed Revenue and customers were growing at good clip Many of the products were 10X better than competitors

The downside was a lack of investor support. One of the original investors sabotaged management's efforts to raise Series B funding. The company received four term-sheets and each term sheet was blocked by the investor. The company had to sell itself to Silicon Labs.

there were few people so communication was easy and people were nice at the beginning, management was quite friendly at the beginning too.

the founder want to build up the company as fast as possible but forgot the idea was bound to be a slow company from the very beginning so it was not surprising that it failed in the end
