The company had a recent lay-off in January 2025, slashing 10% of the company to make it more appealing to new buyers (Trackunit has the target to be sold by 2025 by its current owners HG Capital). This is not new. Every year, there are changes, either re-shuffling people across departments/roles or layoffs. The company's leadership team includes many ex-Schneider Electric employees (from the CEO to the CTO, EVP of Tech, etc.), which makes decision-making "narrow-minded" and biased. The CTO is a bully who thinks he makes all the company's decisions. The company has two stupid mottos: "200% accountability" and "Your job is not your job." These mottos basically mean you will be hired for anything, there is no clear job role and good luck getting measured/guided to success when you need to do "anything." As long as the company reaches its annual goals (set by HG and instructed by Baine Consulting), it will be fine. The only department vital to the company is Sales. The company's primary focus is to sell whatever is possible without considering whether "should we really do this?" or "how does this fit our mission/targets?" and even half-baked solutions to close down deals. Once the deal is closed, if you are the customer, good luck getting what you signed for on the terms you signed.
