Vantaggi
I can't think of any. Working at this place was a traumatizing nightmare.
Svantaggi
On top of having bad office politics and an unsanitary cafeteria, this company does not care about its people and who they do business with. Despite public outcry, in Nov 2016 -- during tensions caused by the Presidential Election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, TCMA hosted an event for white nationalist Richard Spencer and the National Policy Institute -- an organization labeled as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. As a former employee and POC, it's not surprising that they chose to work with such a hateful group of people considering that they treat their POC workers like trash: laughing while Black workers give presentations during team meetings, throwing microaggressions at co-workers from marginalized groups, scolding Black employees and stealing their ideas, and practicing ageism in the workplace. Don't bother ever taking sick/mental health days because you will ALWAYS be frowned upon for it and made to feel guilty for taking time for yourself. I had a reproductive medical issue and was given was suspended after I came back. They said it was because I hardly showed up for work and gave poor performance -- but mind you -- I was out because I had medical issues and was still reeling from them physically and emotionally as anyone would who had just gone through a traumatic medical experience. My supervisor in her exact words that she "doesn't care" that I had reproductive medical issues after her, a co-worker who showed nothing but disdain towards me, and HR ambushed me and suspended me. This was my first job out of college and I've been in the workforce for many years now, but I still consider this one of the most traumatic work experiences of my life. After being suspended, I learned to NEVER work for a place that refuses to treat their employees as human beings, or anyone who would flat out say that they don't care that I just went through a traumatic medical experience. This is not a sustainable way to lead and it's shameful that TCMA treats its employees like they are disposable and not human beings. But if working at bigoted workplaces that put profit over people is your thing, this is the place for you.
