Good company for long term employees who seek stability and are comfortable with the status quo. This is an industry that will likely last for many decades (locks) with a fairly steady revenue stream.

Managers don't have authority to be change agents or real managers. Lip service was paid to change. Virtually all decisions had to be reviewed/approved by the GM, a "change resistant decades resident staff" and a compliant HR. Old ways were relished. Risk adverse. Metrics for show. Expeditor mentality. New processes quickly erode away due to lack of support. Old problems were readdressed year after year. No place for a mover/shaker.

Headquarters in Davidson is a beautiful location with very nice offices. Culture is great, my team is very kind and willing to help me learn. There are a lot of other interns to make friends with, and the relocation bonus covered my whole summer rent.

Svantaggi

Slow to onboard (acces/permissions to software) which causes the first 2 weeks to be very boring. Also occasional lack of any projects/work which leads to boredom
