Vantaggi
Company culture seems fairly flexible about work/life balance. Does sort of depend on your manager but that can be really good since there's a lot of good managers here who will go to bat for you if need be. Benefits are solid, I haven't had much interaction with HR outside of when I first joined but they were very helpful to work with when I did.
Svantaggi
Career movement is real difficult/slow unless you adhere to the old and established job roles like technicians, project/product managers, etc. If you're looking to be creative and branch out into different or multiple avenues of work you're not going to have very much support from management. They won't fight you, they just won't help you at all even if you go out of your way to hand deliver them progress. So if you're looking for internal career growth in something that isn't just sitting and writing code, or being some part of middle to upper management, you're totally on your own to figure out what to do/not to do. Also they didn't give us bonuses the last few years. I tried looking in the online company systems and couldn't find any evidence of it even though management via email "claimed" that bonuses were coming just slightly delayed this year. It's nearly August and I haven't see it even though every quarter since I've joined the company has been experiencing increases in profits.
