Tensions can arise simply because younger people haven't learnt to deal with stress and appropriate business manners yet. Too few people are role-models (perhaps because the high turn-over) and too many newbies make constantly annoying mistakes. If people only come because it's "a job" without having a true passion/motivation other than "it's my job" to come to work for every day, they burn out pretty fast and leave. Some of the people with serious motivation don't have the patience to wait a couple years until the salary becomes higher.
