Not a professional work environment - Recensione dipendente - Dipendente anonimo presso Transformer Protector

I honestly liked working here, didn't really have any issues others seemed to have had. I was still in school during my time at TPC, so they allowed me to go to school as I gained work experience, they worked with my personal situations and school schedule for that I'm thankful. Engineers are involved from the beginning of a project to the end, that was good work experience.

The company works with a small company mind, so there's not much room to grow but you will be exposed to other fields as you're needed.

I started at TPC fresh out of college and had a good experience being mentored. It is a small company so we all know each other very well. The technical issues in the field were challenging but it was fun traveling to many places I have never seen. Almost everybody in the company is from a different country or is 1st generation American so if you like culture you will enjoy that aspect.

After a couple of years I moved on to Oil and Gas with a huge company that has too much bureaucracy. When the oil price crashed I was layed off and was back at TPC. I was very happy to be back in the family. I don’t see why some reviews are so negative but I guess in a small company some people butt heads.
